our story
meet Caroline
With roots in Quebec, Canada, Caroline Demers now calls Vermont her home. She masters a delivery of delicate and authentic French pastries which exude a humble elegance. Her genuine love for baking is apparent (and needed when her day in the bakery begins at 4am). Early on, her passion for starting Red House Sweets was fueled by the happiness her creations brought people…and it still is.

 

Red House Sweets first appeared at the Farmers’ Markets and local notoriety for Caroline’s award-winning pastries spread (especially for her famed croissants). The bakery expanded to its current location on Main Street in Downtown St. Albans, Vermont where visitors from near and far can enjoy French treats and fresh bread.

I love the french authentic style of Red House and love the smell whenever I walk in.

I love the flaky butter croissant! I love the symplicity of pairing a butter croissant with a coffee from Catalyst.
